From Calais there are several routes to Morgins but the most direct one is:

  • Calais A26 Reims (Motorway)

  • Reims A26 Troyes (Motorway)

  • Troyes A5 Langres (Motorway)

  • Exit Langres Sud Junction 6

  • Take D6 Longeau

  • Longeau D67 Gray via Champlitte

  • Gray D67 Besançon (Follow green signs for Lausanne)

  • Besançon N57 Pontarlier

  • Pontarlier N57 Vallorbe Swiss Border

  • Vallorbe N1 Lausanne (Motorway)

  • Lausanne N1 Montreux/Grand St. Bernard

  • Exit N1 Monthey/St. Triphon/Pas de Morgins.

  • Follow signs for Morgins.

Once in Switzerland you will need to buy a ‘vignette’, costing Sfr40 to use the Swiss motorways. You will need French francs or credit cards for the French motorways tolls which amount to about £20 each way for the above route. You should consult the AA to see what equipment is obligatory in France and Switzerland.
Snow chains are not a legal requirement but we reccommedn that your vehicle should be equipped with them.

N.B. Motorway signs are green in Switzerland
