For those who don’t feel the need to bash the pistes and for anyone who is seeking a bit if peace and quiet away from it all, snowshoeing could be the answer. It’s quite physical but the trails offer stunning views and it’s a fine way to explore the “back country” around Morgins. Our guide will take you on a different trail every day from Monday through to Friday culminating in a trek up to the Pointe de Bellevue at over 2,000m. Walks will generally last for up to 4 hours so please bring plenty of water and a picnic. Snowshoeing is easy to get to grips with – you just have to remember to walk with your legs slightly apart and you’ll be fine!
We are offering 2 organised weeks, one on the 5th. & 19th. January 2008 at a cost of £395 per person per week and the other on the 15th March 2008 at a cost of £405 per person per week.
The price includes:
- catered, half-board, en-suite accommodation
- tourist taxes
- guide on all walks
The prices excludes:
- transport to Morgins
- snow shoe hire
- evening meal on the chalet hosts day off.
