The Programme

Below is an example of what we can offer and has been used successfully by several groups. It gives students an opportunity to meet key people in a wide range of tourist based activities and a chance to experience some of the activities they are studying. Many other options are available and the programme can be adapted to meet the demands of students studying Travel/Leisure & Tourism.

Day 1 Arrival in Morgins either by coach or transfer from Geneva Airport.
P.M. Settle into your accommodation followed by a tour of the village.
1930 Dinner followed by briefing.

Day 2
0800 Breakfast
0900 Study of a small tour operator
1200 Lunch
1230 Depart for parapente (Extra cost of Sfr70)
1300 Discussion with the owner of the
          Parapente School
1900 Dinner

Day 3
0800 Breakfast
0900 Team Building Activity.
1900 Dinner

Day 4
0800 Breakfast
0900 Depart for Lausanne. Investigate the operation of a major tourist attraction - 0000 The Olympic Museum.
1300 Picnic lunch.
1400 Pedallos.
1700 Devalkarts in Morgins
1900 Dinner

Day 5
0800 Breakfast.
0900 Investigate a tourist attraction: Salt
    0    mines at Bex.
1300 Lunch.
1430 Mountain biking.
1900 Dinner.

Day 6
0900 Breakfast.
1000 On site discussion with the director of Telemorgins who are responsible for the 0000skiing and operation of the ski lifts serving Morgins and Champoussin. We will 0000discuss the effects of skiing on the environment; new methods of coping with 0000climatic changes;  new developments such as the opening of new lifts and runs.
1200 Lunch.
1400 Discussion with Martial Donnet, head of the Ski School who is also 0000responsible for the new Multipurpose Sports Hall which is under construction. 0000 On site visit.
1900 Dinner

Day 7
0800 Breakfast.
0900 Investigate a tourist attraction:
        0Labyrinthe Aventure at Evionnaz
1200 Lunch.
1400 Depart for Montreux. Free time in
          Montreux
2000 Dinner

Day 8
0800 Breakfast.
Depart by coach or transfer to Geneva Airport.
