Chefs

You make a big contribution to the success of the guests' holiday; the evening meal is seen as the highlight of the day. As well as breakfast and afternoon tea, you will be preparing a 3-course dinner each night. As a team, you and the Chalet Host are responsible for looking after your guests & ensuring they enjoy their holiday.

Your specific responsibilities include:

• checking weekly Guest Information in conjunction with Chalet Host
• completing Food Order Form within specified time frame
• receiving food order
• maintaining budgets
• preparing and cooking breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner
• maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
• assisting Chalet Host on changeover day
• meeting and greeting guests in conjunction with Chalet Host
• carrying out Welcome Speech in conjunction with Chalet Host
• assisting with daily clean
• managing food stocks & carrying out weekly food stock takes
  

Anyone interested in this position should have experience in the catering field and/or have attended a specific catering course or courses.
